The location couldn't have been better, with the Inari train station and the beautiful Fushimi Inari shrine within walking distance. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially when we needed assistance with the washer/dryer. If we ever return to this area of Kyoto, we will definitely choose to stay at Gentle Fox Hotel again. Location next to public transport, and the train station, several shrines, amazing restaurants, a Lawson's, several coffee shops.

The apartments were brand new with very generous facilities, including large beds with solid mattresses. Plus, the water pressure in the shower was very good. The location was great - a quiet suburb with supermarkets only a 5-minute walk away and train stations for easy access to different parts of the city in close proximity.

The staff was non-existent during the hours of 11 am to 3 pm, which was not communicated beforehand and led to some frustration during check-in. It would have been helpful to have been notified of this beforehand.
